How to use the bio generator
- Choose your platform. The character limit updates automatically.
- Add what you do (for example “Wedding photographer”) and a few interests, separated by commas.
- Pick a style, optionally add a call to action, and select Generate bios.
- Copy the bio you like best and personalize it — small edits make it sound like you.
How to write a bio that works
A good bio answers three questions quickly: who you are, what people will get from following you, and what to do next. Lead with the most important detail, because many apps truncate bios on small screens.
- Be specific: “Vegan baking recipes every Sunday” beats “I love food.”
- Use line breaks to separate ideas so the bio is easy to scan.
- End with one clear call to action, such as a link, a booking prompt or a newsletter.
Character limits by platform
The generator keeps every result within these limits (counted the way the platforms generally count them):
| Platform | Bio limit |
|---|---|
| 150 characters | |
| Threads | 150 characters |
| X (Twitter) | 160 characters |
| TikTok | 80 characters |
| LinkedIn headline | 220 characters |
Platforms occasionally change limits, so check the field counter in the app when you paste your bio.
Choosing a style
Professional suits portfolios, consultants and LinkedIn. Friendly works for personal accounts and creators. Funny adds personality, Creative suits artists and makers, and Minimal keeps it short and plain.
