- Choose a number and whether you want paragraphs, sentences or words.
- Keep or remove the classic “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet” opening.

Why designers use lorem ipsum
Placeholder text lets people judge a layout’s typography and spacing without being distracted by reading the words. Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin, adapted from a work by Cicero, with a natural mix of short and long words.
Replace it with real content before launch. Real copy is often longer or shorter than expected, and layouts should be tested with it.
