Why screenshots work so well

Text on a screen is sharp and evenly lit, so OCR is usually very accurate. Zoom in before capturing small text, and capture only the part you need.

How accurate is the text recognition?

Sharp, high-contrast printed text is usually read almost perfectly. Handwriting, unusual fonts, low-resolution photos and text on busy backgrounds cause mistakes, so check the result. Cropping to just the text helps.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device, so your files are never sent to a server.
